Architectural Lighting Design Project
Xavio is deeply involved in a full architectural lighting design and specification for a 24,500 sq ft house in Belgrave Square, an ex-Embassy that is being refurbished into a superb single residence.
The house is Grade 1 listed, which has given many challenges to ensure the architectural lighting design is seamlessly integrated with the historical nature of this beautiful building.
The house has 2 large levels below ground, one of which houses a large swimming pool with a dynamic floor, that can morph the room into a ballroom. The Xavio design team is currently working with Osram on a bespoke lighting system which will create an artificial ‘rooflight’ in the pool area.
The project includes the original Mews house behind the main residence, which is being incorporated into the single dwelling and linked together by an interior courtyard and the sub-levels.
