Belgravia Project Progress

As always it is fascinating to see the project progress from a detailed design through to actual reality, with no exception to this historic building lighting design project. As second fix commences on some areas of this huge 24,500 sq ft mansion in Belgravia (an embassy converted to a single residence), other areas such as the large basement are still under construction.

Xavio has been working on the project since 2014, and the design team have now handed over to the project management team to take this through to completion.  Architectural lighting design throughout is to Xavio’s inspiring concepts, and a great deal of technical development is focussing specifically around the stunning swimming pool in the basement.  This has an illuminated ceiling to simulate a classic orangery.

The house is Grade 1 listed, so all lighting has been sympathetically designed around the many constraints of this massive and historic building.
